10/9... Was the Chicago Marathon today so we decided to get out of dodge early and hit the road to Sioux Falls, SD. Quick stop for lunch in Madison, WI at Ian's Pizza. We were also lucky enough to witness a town firetruck parade.. it was loud!! Took a walk through the town and down to the water.

8 hours through Minnesota and all we remember are the windmills....
and maybe a few cows :)
Made it to Sioux Falls and got a pleasant surprise when we arrived. We got upgraded to the Presidential suite, just because we are so cool! The room had two floors!! It was definitely the nicest hotel room either of us will ever stay in.. Just to rub it in, here are some pics :)
On our way out the next morning we stopped off at a small coffee shop. We knew it was going to be a good day... especially when you start off with a lil love in your coffee!
Off to the Badlands....
